Thanks to the generous donation from Andrea & Nicole Radosevich, Winifred has been re-enrolled into school for the 2021/2022 school year. She was promoted to the 2nd grade this year and still wants to be a cook when she grows up. She continues to live with her mother.

Meet Winifred, who has been generously sponsored by Elizabeth Buerger.  She is 11 years old and is in the 1st grade this year. She lives in Zolowee, Liberia with her mother.  Winifred’s uncle told the Girl Power Africa team during the interview: “The father had 6 children with my sister and abandoned all of them with my sister and walked away, leaving my sister to suffer with the children. He met a new woman and dashed my sister. It’s just not right.”   Her interests are cooking and she hopes to be a cook when she grows up. Winifred and her sister, Grace, are extremely grateful to have been blessed with an opportunity to go to school.
