A family emergency forced Sussana to temporarily move to the capital city, Monrovia. We do not have the details of the emergency that necessitated uprooting Sussana from Zolowee to Monrovia. While in Monrovia, Sussana did not attend school and when she returned to Zolowee the school year was almost over – causing her to be retained in kindergarten-2 class. Sussana is looking forward to a fresh start to complete kindergarten class. She still hopes to be a medical doctor one day. Sponsored by: Tina Hinchley

Thanks to the generous donation from Tina Hinchley, Sussana has been re-enrolled into school for the 2021/2022 school year. She was promoted to the K-2 grade this year and still wants to be a doctor when she grows up. She continues to live with her mother.

Meet Sussana, who has been generously sponsored by Tina Hinchley. She is 7 years old and is in the K-1 grade this year. She lives in Zolowee, Liberia with her widowed mother. After the death of Sussana’s father two years ago, her mother has been finding it difficult to support her family. Her interests are studying and she hopes to be a medical doctor when she grows up.
