Serena was promoted to kindergarten-2 class! Her favorite subject is math. Some days she arrives to school early to clean the classroom before anyone else arrives. She’s a big help to the teacher and her classmates. Serena still wants to be a mom when she grows up and she continues to live with her mother. Sponsored by: Donations from General Funds

Thanks to the generous donation from Beth Walker, Serena has been re-enrolled into school for the 2021/2022 school year. She was promoted to the K-1 grade this year and still wants to be a mom when she grows up. She continues to live with her mother.

Meet Serena, who has been generously sponsored by Elizabeth Buerger. She is 11 years old and is going to school for the first time. She lives in Zolowee, Liberia with her mother and father. Serena’s father was in a car accident which left him with an amputated leg. He’s unable to do physical work to support his family of six. Her interests are helping her mom and she hopes to be a mom when she grows up.
