Thanks to the generous donation from Donna Ernst, Grace has been re-enrolled into school for the 2021/2022 school year. She was promoted to the 1st grade this year and still wants to be a mechanic when she grows up. She continues to live with her mother.

Meet Grace, who has been generously sponsored by Donna Ernst.  She is 10 years old and is in the K-2 grade this year. She lives in Zolowee, Liberia with her mother.  Grace’s uncle told the Girl Power Africa team during the interview: “Her father had 6 children with my sister and abandoned all of them with my sister and walked away, leaving my sister to suffer with the children. He met a new woman and dashed my sister. It’s just not right.”   Her interests are helping her sisters and she hopes to be a mechanic when she grows up. Grace and her sister, Winifred, are extremely grateful to have been blessed with an opportunity to go to school.
