Rebecca was promoted to fourth grade. It is always a joy to experience the growth and development of our students. Rebecca used to come across as a shy girl. Last school year, she exhibited leadership capabilities and was selected as choir director for her school. Her favorite subject is reading, and she is looking forward to this new school year. Thanks to the generous donation from Ann Milne, Rebecca has been re-enrolled into school for the 2020/2021 school year. She is in the 2nd grade this year. She looked happy and well but her mother has been sick. She still wants to be a teacher when she grows up. She continues to live with her mother.

Meet Rebecca, who has been generously sponsored by Ann Milne. She is 12 years old and is in the 1st grade this year. Rebecca lives in Gbobayee, Liberia with her widowed mother. Since the death of Rebecca’s father 4 years ago, her mother has been unable to afford to send her children to school on a regular basis. Her interests are helping her mom with cooking, laundry, and drawing water. She hopes to be a teacher when she grows up.
