It was a good school year for Kentoria who continues to excel in her studies. She is now a ten-year-old fifth grader and is proud that she has caught up with her age-appropriate grade level. She wears her school uniform with pride! In many of the families GPA supports, the school uniform is the only new item of clothing the child has as families are unable to purchase new clothes but rely upon used clothing from the local market. Kentoria continues to reside with her grandmother. Sponsored by: Donations from General Funds

Thanks to the generous donation from Barbara Ulichny, Kentoria has been re-enrolled into school for the 2021/2022 school year. She received a triple promotion and is now in the 4th grade this year. Kentoria still wants to be a teacher when she grows up. She continues to live with her grandmother.

Meet Kentoria, who has been generously sponsored by Michelle Monaco. She is 8 years old and is in the 1st grade this year. She lives in Borsonnor Town, Liberia with her grandmother. Kentoria was abandoned at birth by both parents. She has never seen her biological parents and lives with her aging grandmother. Her interests are cooking and doing laundry at the river. She hopes to be a teacher when she grows up.
