Theresa is in kindergarten (K-2) this year! She had a good school year and looks forward to her reenrollment. Last year, Theresa had a bad case of scabies when we saw her. As she ages, we note she is able to better care for her personal hygiene; her scalp was healthy as was the rest of her body. It is heartwarming to witness the gradual personal, social, physical and intellectual growth of our GPA supported children! Thankful for the providential network of sponsors that supports the holistic growth and development of children like Theresa. Sponsored by: Laura Groenier

Thanks to the generous donation from Laura Groenier, Theresa has been re-enrolled into school for the 2021/2022 school year. She received an incomplete for the 2020-2021 school year. Due to COVID-19 outbreak, schools in Liberia had irregular school schedule. This combined with the lack of technology in the schools, some schools made the decision to keep students in their current grade level for the 2021-2022 school year. Theresa was kept in her current grade level of K-1 grade for the upcoming school year. She continues to live with her mother and still wants to be a pastor when she grows up. Please Note: Theresa’s hair was shaved due a severe case of scabies.

Meet Theresa, who has been generously sponsored by Laura Groenier. She is 7 years old and in the K-1 grade this year. She lives in Borsonnor, Liberia with her mother. She did not know her father due to his sudden death the year after she was born, when he fell from a palm tree. Her interests are praying for people and she hopes to be a pastor when she grows up.
