Annie has advanced to the sixth grade, marking another step towards her goal of high school graduation and fulfilling her dream of becoming a doctor. With a strong determination to succeed, she celebrates this achievement as a significant milestone in her journey. Annie finds particular joy in math and science, her favorite subjects, where she excels as a great student. Often, she extends her knowledge by assisting classmates with their schoolwork.
Upon returning home, Annie takes on the role of a teacher, imparting lessons to her younger siblings. Her dedication to both her studies and her family exemplifies her commitment to learning and nurturing those around her.

Thanks to the generous donation from Heather Slater, Annie has been re-enrolled into school for the 2021/2022 school year. She received a double promotion and is now in the 4th grade this year. She still wants to be a doctor when she grows up. She continues to live with her mother and siblings.

She told Girl Power that she and her siblings have not been going to school because her mother has a lot of children and she could not afford to send them to school. Her interests are learning and helping her mom and she hopes to be a doctor when she grows up.
