September 2021: Thanks to the generous donation from Teri Anderson, Susana has been re-enrolled into school for the 2021/2022 school year. She was promoted to the 7th grade this year and still wants to be a teacher when she grows up. She continues to live with her parents.

September 2020:  Thanks to the generous donation from Teri Anderson, Suanna has been re-enrolled into school for the 2020/2021 school year. She is in the 6th grade this year and still wants to be a teacher when she grows up. She continues to live with her parents.  (Please Note:  Susanna was out of town on the day of the 2020-2021 school distribution. Her materials were left with the school authorities).

October 2019: Thanks to the generous donation from Teri Anderson, Susanna has been re-enrolled into school for the 2019-2020 school year. 

June 2019: We are pleased to announce that Susanna was promoted to the 5th grade for the 2018-2019 school year. Elizabeth, thank you for your sponsorship and giving your student a gift of education through Girl Power Africa.

2018:  Meet Susanna, who has been generously sponsored by Elizabeth Orvick. She is 14 years old and in the 4th grade this year. She lives in Sanniquellie, Liberia with her parents. Both of Susanna’s parents are unemployed and couldn’t afford to send their 7 children to school on a regular basis. Her interests are cooking and she hopes to be a teacher when she grows up.
