September 2021: Thanks to the generous donation from Lori Miller, Junior has been re-enrolled into school for the 2021/2022 school year. He was promoted to the 6th grade this year and still wants to be a teacher when he grows up. He continues to live with his mother.

September 2020: Thanks to the generous donation from Lori Miller, Junior has been re-enrolled into school for the 2020/2021 school year. He is in the 5th grade this year and still wants to be a teacher when he grows up. He continues to live with his mother.

October 2019: Thanks to the generous donation from Lori Miller, Junior has been re-enrolled into school for the 2019-2020 school year. 

June 2019: We are pleased to announce that Junior was promoted to the 4th grade for the 2018-2019 school year. Lori, thank you for your sponsorship and giving your student a gift of education through Girl Power Africa.

2018:  Meet Junior, who has been generously sponsored by Lori Miller. He is 10 years old and in the 3rd grade this year. Junior lives in Sanniquellie, Liberia with his mother. Since the death of his father, Junior’s mom could not afford to send him and his siblings to school on a regular basis. He hopes to be a teacher when he grows up.
