2024
Rejoice was promoted from 1st grade to 2nd grade this year. She loves social studies and enjoys learning about the world around her. However, this year came with challenges for Rejoice, as she was given to a different family to live with, requiring her to switch families in the middle of the school year. Despite the difficulties of adjusting to a new environment, Rejoice remains determined to do her best in school and continues to thrive academically. Her resilience and love for learning are truly inspiring. Sponsored by: Sue Smith Holman

Rejoyce needs special attention to improve her studies. She is a shy little girl and due to her shyness, she is reluctant to speak up in class. Rejoyce was retained in the kindergarten-2 class. GPA team encouraged Rejoyce’s teacher to identify and celebrate Rejoyce’s strengths with the aim of increasing her confidence. GPA is happy to walk alongside students like Rejoyce who need a little extra care and attention to boost their confidence. Sponsored by: Donations from General Funds

Meet Rejoyce, who has been generously sponsored by an Anonymous donor (Mohamad). She is 7 years old and is in the K-1 grade this year. She lives in Zorgowee, Liberia with her aunt. Her mother left her with her aunt to finish her education. The aunt is unemployed and could not afford to send her to school. Her interests are taking her aunt wherever she wants to go and she hopes to be a driver when she grows up.
