September 2021: Thanks to the generous donation from Silver Leaf Interiors & Laura Groenier, Nowah has been re-enrolled into school for the 2021/2022 school year. Nowah was promoted to the 2nd grade this year and still wants to be a doctor when she grows up. She continues to live with her parents.

2018: Nowah has been generously re-sponsored by Silver Leaf Interiors and Laura Krelwitz Groenier. She is 6 years old and was promoted to the kindergarten1 this year. Nowah lives in Duazon, Liberia with her mother and father. Her father is unemployed and her mother is was empowerd by Silver Leaf Interior and Laura Krelwitz Groenier with with her own business through Girl Power Africa. Her parents couldn’t afford to send her to school. Nowah’s interests are helping her mom to cook and she hopes to be a doctor when she grows up.
