Maron faced a challenging year and was unfortunately demoted to the K2 class after struggling to keep up with her lessons. She had faced significant losses in her life, losing both her mother and grandmother within the past eight months, and this deeply affected her ability to focus on schoolwork. The loss of these two important figures in her life left a gap that Maran found hard to fill, and as a result, she fell behind in her lessons. Despite these difficulties, Maron has a bright and caring spirit. She loves to play with dolls and enjoys helping her mom with cooking at home. Her kindness and willingness to help others show her strong character, even in the face of adversity. This year, Maron has made a promise to herself to do better. She is determined to work hard in class and overcome the challenges she has faced. With the right support and her own inner strength, Maron is ready to move forward and continue her journey toward success. Her story is one of resilience, and she has the potential to rise above her struggles and achieve great things. Sponsored by: Tijuana Odom

Meet Maron, who has been generously sponsored by Todd Schliesman. She is 5 years old and is going to school for the first time in the ABC grade. She lives in Beagonpa, Liberia with both of her parents. The family is extremely poor and could not afford to send Maron to school. Her interests are playing and she hopes to be a nurse when she grows up.
