September 2021: Thanks to the generous donation from Stephanie Woods, Mama has been re-enrolled into school for the 2021/2022 school year. She was promoted to the 3rd grade this year and still wants to be a nurse when she grows up. She continues to live with her mother.
September 2020-Thanks to the generous donation from Dan Lafrombois, Mama has been re-enrolled into school for the 2020/2021 school year. She has received a triple promotion and she’s now in the 2nd grade this year. She still wants to be a nurse when she grows up. She continues to live with her mother.
2019: Meet Mama, who has been generously sponsored by Dan Lafrombois. She is 10 years old, lives in Sanniquillie, Liberia and in K1 this year. Her father had abandoned the family for another women years ago. Mama’s single mother is struggling to support her and her 3 children. Mama’s interests are washing clothes and she hopes to be a nurse when she grows up.
