Richael was promoted to 5th grade! Her favorite subject is spelling. Her teacher reports she is a great student and always willing to help her teacher and classmates when they need extra support. Thanks to the generous donation from Farhat Bhuiyan, Richael has been re-enrolled into school for the 2021/2022 school year. She was promoted to the 4th grade this year and still wants to be a doctor when she grows up. During our interview, Richael was a little shy but after a few minutes she opened up and was all smiles. She’s been working very hard in school and seems to be a role model to her classmates and siblings. She continues to live with her grandmother.

Richael is in the 3rd grade this year! Thanks to the generous donation from Farhat Bhuiyan, Rachael has been re-enrolled into school for the 2020/2021 school year. Her favorite subject is math and her favorite pastime is helping her father and grandmother. Her grandmother reports she is a huge help to her family. She still wants to be a doctor when she grows up.

Meet Richael, who has been generously sponsored by Erine Reid. She is 11 years old and in the 2nd grade this year. She lives in Sanniquellie, Liberia with her grandmother. Richael’s mother abandoned Richael and her siblings when Richael was 8 years old. She was living with her father. However, her father had a massive stroke and he is unable to move one side of this body. After the father’s stroke, his mother who is blind, moved in with in them to assist as best as she could. The family is going through a very tough time and could not afford to send Richael and her siblings to school. Richael’s interests are helping her grandmother and she hopes to be a doctor when she grows up.
