This year, we were unable to meet with this student during school registration, as they were either out of town, sick, or facing circumstances that prevented them from attending. Even so, their school fees were paid, and all of their school materials were given to the school staff to ensure they receive everything as soon as they return.

Lucelia failed in the first grade this year. She faced immense hardship after losing both of her parents in a tragic car accident, which made it difficult for her to concentrate in school. Lucelia was placed with one of her aunts, but her aunt has many children of her own and is struggling to support the entire family while sending everyone to school. This has been an incredibly tough year for Lucelia, and she continues to navigate through the challenges following the loss of her parents.  Sponsored by: Alyssa Tesar

Six-year-old Lucelia is in kindergarten-2 class and wants to become a police officer one day.  She lives with her parents and several siblings and family members (15 total).  Lucelia’s father had an accident two years ago that caused him to lose the ability to use his legs.  They are thankful for the gift of a scholarship.
