LEKAGAYE: S534-SEH

September 2021: Thanks to the generous donation from Joyce Jorgensen, Lekagaye has been re-enrolled into school for the 2021/2022 school year. She was promoted to the K-1 grade this year and still wants to be a cook when she grows up. She continues to live with her mother. 

September 2020: Meet Lekagaye, who has been generously sponsored by Joyce Jorgensen on behalf of the estate of Dennis Valstad. She is 5 years old and is going to school for the first time. She lives in Sehyi Geh, Liberia with her mother. The father denied the pregnancy and has never been in her life. Her interests are cooking and she hopes to be a cook when she grows up.
