Grace has been promoted to the 5th grade and continues to excel in her studies, particularly in English, which she loves. This year, she was elected as the secretary of her class, showcasing her leadership skills and commitment to her school community. Thanks to the generous donation from Joyce Jorgensen, Grace has been re-enrolled into school for the 2021/2022 school year. She was promoted to the 2^nd grade this year and still wants to be a teacher when she grows up. She continues to live with her mother. 

Meet Grace, who has been generously sponsored by Joyce Jorgensen on behalf of the estate of Dennis Valstad. She is 10 years old and is in the 1st grade this year. She lives in Sehyi Geh, Liberia with her mother. Her father died three years ago from a stroke leaving behind his wife and 4 children. The mother finds it difficult to support her family.  Her interests are helping her mom to care for the family, and she hopes to be a teacher when she grows up.
