Joyline will be kept in the second grade for another year for reasons unknown. We got to talk with Joyline who was embarrassed but we assured her that failure is only when you quit or stop trying. She left the conversation feeling inspired and determined to pass this year. Her favorite subject is math and she still lives with her aunt and desires to be a doctor one day. We are honored to walk alongside Joyline on as she journeys towards her dream of being a doctor. She is very thankful for the opportunity of a scholarship. Sponsored by: Amy Treinen

Meet Joyline, who has been generously sponsored by Lori Fischer Hall. She is 9 years old and in the 1st grade this year. She lives in Gbeleyee, Liberia with her aunt. Her father denied the pregnancy which made the mother to be disgraced in their village. When Joyline was 2 years old, her mother left her with her aunt and moved out of town. Joyline’s interests are cooking and eating and she hopes to be a medical doctor when she grows up.
