Florence is now in 6th grade and continues to make steady academic progress, with Social Studies as her favorite subject. She passed last year successfully and is performing well in her studies. With Girl Power Africa’s support covering her school fees, Florence feels happy and motivated to return to school and is focused on earning promotion to the next grade. Florence was proudly promoted to the fifth grade this year, and she continues to excel in her studies. She shared that her favorite subjects are math and spelling, where she consistently performs exceptionally well. Florence’s teachers have praised her as an excellent student and a natural team leader in her class. Her active participation in lessons and her cheerful personality make her a joy to be around. Florence is always quick to lend a hand to her classmates and brings a positive energy wherever she goes. Her radiant smile is a hallmark of her character, lighting up the classroom every day. Nine-year-old Florence is in third grade and lives with her mother and seven siblings.  She dreams of being a doctor one day and loves singing in her church choir.  Her mother has some health challenges but cannot afford to seek medical assistance.  She stoically takes on the responsibility of providing for her family and does subsistence farming as generations before her have done. Sponsored by:
