Elive continues to live with her grandmother and was promoted to the fifth grade this year. Her teacher has noted that Elive is always asking thoughtful and well-considered questions in class, showing a deep interest in her learning. Her favorite subject is math, and she excels in it, working hard to understand and apply new concepts. Although Elive is shy and quiet, she remains very dedicated to her studies. She prefers sitting at the back of the class but always makes sure to stay on top of her work. Her teachers describe her as hardworking and diligent, and they appreciate her quiet determination. Elive is a very thoughtful student, and her commitment to doing her best is inspiring. We are proud of her progress and look forward to seeing her continue to grow academically. Ten-year-old Elive lives with her grandmother and five extended family members in Flowin Town.  She is in third grade and dreams of becoming a driver one day.  Elive is the vice president of her class.  Elive’s father abandoned his family several years ago and her mother sent Elive to live with her grandmother because she could not sustain all her children.  Her grandmother could not afford to send Elive to school and is thankful for the gift of a scholarship. Sponsored by: Lori Fischer Hall
