ETEMA: S618-GBE
September 2021: Thanks to the generous donation from Lori Fischer Hall, Etema has been re-enrolled into school for the 2021/2022 school year. She received a double promotion and is now in the 2nd grade this year. She still wants to be an agriculturist when she grows up. She continues to live with her mother.
September 2020: Meet Etema, who has been generously sponsored by Lori Fischer Hall. She is 8 years old and is in the K2 grade this year. She lives in Gbayden, Liberia with her mother. The town chief told our Girl Power Africa team: “Etema and her siblings are pretty much raising themselves because their mother is crazy (has dementia) and lives in the streets with no care. Her interests are cooking and she hopes to be an agriculturist when she grows up.
