Pauline was retained in pre-kindergarten class for reasons are unknown. She also assumed she would lose her scholarship because of this. What a burden of worry for a little girl to carry. Thanks to GPA amazing sponsors for supporting Pauline’s educational goals. We had a good talk with her during her interview and she left feeling determined and motivated to do great this year. She continues to live with her father and still wants to be a nurse when she grows up. Sponsored by: Lori Fischer Hall

Thanks to the generous donation from Lori Fischer Hall, Pauline has been re-enrolled into school for the 2021/2022 school year. She received an incomplete for the 2020/2021 school year. Due to COVID-19 outbreak, schools in Liberia had irregular school schedule. This combined with the lack of technology in the schools, some schools made the decision to keep students in their current grade level for the 2021/2022 school year. Pauline was kept in her current grade level of ABC grade for the upcoming school year. She continues to live with her father and still wants to be a nurse when she grows up.

Meet Pauline, who has been generously sponsored by Lori Fischer Hall. She is 6 years old and is going to school for the first time in ABC. She lives in Gbayden, Liberia with her father.
