EFFORT: S711-DUA

Thanks to the generous donation from D’Anna Freiberg, Effort has been re-enrolled into school for the 2021/2022 school year. Effort was promoted to the 1st grade this year and still wants to be a police officer when he grows up. He continues to live with his grandmother.

Meet Effort, who has been generously sponsored by D’Anna Freiberg. He is 10 years old and, in the K-2 grade this year. He lives in Duazon, Liberia with his grandmother. Effort and his brother were in separatable. They were both given to their grandmother to live because their mother could not afford to support all 7 of her children. Two years ago, he was given to his uncle to live because the grandmother too was struggling to support them. Unfortunately, that uncle passed away 2 months ago and Effort was brought back to his grandmother. He is very happy to be reunited with his brother.  His interests are playing with his brother and he hopes to be a police officer when he grows up.
