Edwin is gifted with a special ability to create toys by putting parts of broken toys and other items together. His friends and the neighbor kids love his inventions he creates. He was retained in K-2 class this year to improve his reading and writing. Edwin is the team leader for his class and shows great leadership skills. Thanks to the generous donation from Todd Schliesman, Edwin has been re-enrolled into school for the 2020/2021 school year. He is 7 years old in the K-1 grade this year. He looks forward to school each day and has made some great friends. He still wants to be a farmer when he grows up. He continues to live with his father.

Meet Edwin, who has been generously sponsored by Todd Schliesman. He is 6 years old and is going to school for the first time this year in ABC. Edwin lives in New Yekepa, Liberia with his unemployed, single father who has been unable to afford to send his children to school. He hopes to be a farmer when he grows up.
