2018:  Meet Dennis, who has been generously sponsored by Dick Steele. He is 11 years old and in the kindergarten2 this year. Dennis lives in Barpa, Liberia with his grandfather. Joseph’s mother and father are petty farmers with 8 children whom they cannot afford to send to school. Dennis had gone to live with his grandfather hoping that he would send him to school. When Dennis found out that his grandfather too could not afford to send him to school, he came to Girl Power for assistance. He told Bulleh: “Oldma, I know I’m a boy, but I really don’t want to be blind. I want to learn to be a medical doctor. Can you please help me Oldma”? Well… how could I tell a kid like this no?… Of course, I said yes!
