September 2020-S126-SAN-Thanks to the generous donation from Brenda Vesperman, Charlie has been re-enrolled into school for the 2020/2021 school year. He is in the 1st grade this year and still wants to be a police officer when he grows up. He continues to live with his parents.
October 2019: Thanks to the generous donation from Brenda Vesperman, Charles has been re-enrolled into school for the 2019-2020 school year.
June 2019: We are sorry to announce that Charles did not complete the 2018-2019 school year due to assessive days of absents from school. Charles walks to school with his 12 years old sister Lydia. After their 17 years old sister had a baby, Lydia had to stay home to take care of the baby, leaving Charles with no one to walk to shool with. Brenda, thank you for your sponsorship and giving your student a gift of education.

Charles lives in Sanniquellie, Liberia with his mother and father. His father is disabled and is unable to work and provide for his family. His mother is a recent recipient of the Girl Power Africa Enterprenuership Program who recently started her business. Charles hopes to be a police officer when he grows up.
