Angel faced a challenging year, as she was struggling with scabies that affected her body and hair. The condition was so severe that she was unable to attend school for several months, which ultimately led to her not passing the second grade. The scabies took over her body, and she had to undergo treatment, including shaving her head to prevent the condition from worsening. Despite these difficulties, Angel has shown incredible strength and resilience. She loves reading and is a very dedicated student, even though this past year has been tough for her. Angel has promised herself that she will pass this year, and with her determination, we believe she will succeed. She is a great student, and we are proud of her for continuing to fight through adversity and for her commitment to improving. Sponsored by: Peggy & John Sundquist

Nine-year-old Angel said, “I want to be a doctor because I am smart”. Angel’s mother abandoned the family some years back. Angel lives with her grandmother, her father, and three siblings. Her father is a subsistence farmer, working six days weekly to keep his family going. Her grandmother helps to care for Angel and her three siblings. Thanks to GPA amazing sponsor network for walking alongside Angel as she pursues her hopes and dreams. Sponsored by: Phil Vasby
