October 2019: Thanks for the generous donation from Scott Heise, Alucious has been re-enrolled into school for the 2019-2020 school year. 

June 2019: We are pleased to announce that Alucious was promoted from K1 to K2 this year. Shelly, thank you for your sponsorship and giving your student a gift of education. 

2018:  Alucious has been generously re-sponsored by Shelly Dupre. He is 7 years old and is in kindergarten1 this year. Alucious lives in Duazon, Liberia with his mother and father. His father was seriously sick and was brought to Monrovia for medical treatment. Although he’s well now, financially, things have been difficult for the family. Alucious’s mother was empowered by Girl Power Africa to help sustain the family. His interests are playing with his friends and he hopes to be a teacher when he grows up.
