Alice was retained in the 3rd grade. She did not complete the 2021/2022 school year due to a psychological illness. She was taken to an herbalist where she spent 7 months for treatment. She has been re-enrolled into school for the 2022/2023 school year. She is now well and and is very excited to be back with her friends and back in school again. Sponsored by: Tina Hinchley

Thanks to the generous donation from Tina Hinchley, Alice has been re-enrolled into school for the 2021/2022 school year. She was promoted to the 3^rd grade this year and still wants to be a teacher when she grows up. She continues to live with her aunt.

Meet Alice, who has been generously sponsored by Susan Holub. She is 11 years old and is in the 2nd grade this year. She lives in Gbayden, Liberia with her aunt. Alice’s mother died when a snake bit her while she was working on their farm, leaving behind Alice and her sister, Elizabeth. Her interests are helping her aunt and playing with her sister and friends. She hopes to be a teacher when she grows up.
