Favor has been re-enrolled into school for the 2023/2024 school year. She was promoted to the 7th grade this year! Her favorite subject is science and she still wants to be a doctor when she grows up. Her teacher reports she’s a great student with a playful personality. Meet Favor, who has been generously sponsored by Sara Mckay. She is a 13 year old orphan who is in the 4th grade this year. She lives in Gbayden, Liberia with her grandmother. After the death of Favor’s mother in childbirth, her father committed suicide. Her grandmother took Favor and her 3 brothers and sisters to raise. Unfortunately, the grandmother is unemployed and could not effort to send the children to school on a regular basis. Her interests are studying and she hopes to be a medical doctor when she grows up.
