YAR:E880-BOA
January 2024: Sixty year old Yar lives with her husband and seven children. They make a living through subsistence farming. Yar and her husband are retired health care workers who spent many years serving at a rural government clinic. 60 years of age is Liberia’s government mandatory retirement age. However, the government is often remiss in following through with pension payments. Yar and her husband have been retired for almost a year and have not received any payments. They had to turn to subsistence farming to provide for their family. Yar requested a farming supplies package to enable the expansion of their farming enterprise. Sponsored by: CoStar Group
