January 2024: Fifty-year-old Doris is a widow and lives with her three children.  Her husband passed away two years ago leaving Doris to provide for their children through subsistence farming.  With three children in high school, Doris is finding it challenging to sustain the amount needed to sustain their school enrollment while providing for their other needs.  Doris requested (and was granted) a farming supplies package to support her goal of expanding her farming enterprise.
