January 2024: Betty is a forty year old wife and mother who is trying to keep the family of five fed and provided for through subsistence farming.  Her husband has been sick since 2021 and can no longer do most farming activities.  The brunt of providing for the family has fallen on Betty’s shoulders.  Betty desires to expand her farming enterprise by bartering with younger farmers to assist her farming enterprise.  She needs more tools and requests (and was granted) a farming supplies package.
