January 2024: Thirty three year old Alice is a wife and mother of five children.  Alice and her husband do subsistence farming.  One of their children is having severe vision problems and they have been taking him to a nearby hospital for more than a year.  With looming medical costs, they could no longer sustain the school enrollment of all their school age children.  Alice requested (and was granted) a farming supplies package.
