Event Planner

Are you an experienced event planner with a passion for making a difference?

Girl Power Africa is seeking a volunteer with strong organizational and communication skills to help us plan and execute successful events that support our mission of empowering the people of Liberia, West Africa.

As an event planner volunteer, you will work closely with our team to conceptualize, plan, and execute events that raise awareness about our programs and generate funding to support our initiatives. Examples of events you may work on include fundraising galas, charity auctions, networking events, and community outreach events.

Your responsibilities may include coordinating event logistics, managing vendor relationships, creating event timelines, overseeing event registration and ticket sales, and assisting with post-event evaluations. You will work closely with our marketing and communications team to promote events and ensure a high level of attendee engagement.

To succeed in this role, you should have strong project management and communication skills, as well as experience with event planning and execution. You should also have a strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

By volunteering as an event planner with Girl Power Africa, you will have the opportunity to make a tangible impact on the lives of the people of Liberia. Your efforts will help us to raise the necessary funds and awareness to support our initiatives, which include empowering women entrepreneurs, providing education to children, and addressing basic needs in the community.
