TONGOR: E426-LIA

JUNE 2022:  Tongor is a sixty-year-old woman living with her husband and three of her six children (ages 17 to 14).  Tongor and her husband provide for their family through subsistence farming but their ability to fully provide took a downward trend when her husband became ill three years ago.  Now, Tongor cares for her sick husband while also taking on the responsibility of sustaining the subsistence farming activities that feeds their family and provides basic essentials.  The gift of a farming supplies Empowerment Package was a blessing and helped Tongor to celebrate God’s goodness to provide her a “safety net” in the form of Girl Power.  Thank you, Lori Fischer Hall, for giving Tongor and her children a hand up.
