MARTHALINE: E452-SAN

JUNE 2022:  34-year-old Marthaline lives with her husband and five four children
(ages 18 years to 5 months) in Sanniquellie, Nimba County.  She makes a living
through subsistence farming. Marthaline and her husband are determined to send
all their children to school; a daunting goal for a subsistence farming family
earning less than $800 annually. Food and shelter naturally take precedence,
making education and preventive healthcare very low on the list of a family’s
priorities.  Marthaline asked Girl Power for a farming supplies Empowerment
Package to assist her to expand her farming activities.  Thanks to the generous gifts
from General Funds Donation for giving Marthaline and her household a hand up.
