June 2022:  Thirty-eight-year-old Felecial’s common law husband abandoned her
and their six children. With three additional extended household members, Felecial
was thankful for the business development Empowerment Package. She is selling
dry goods in the Girl Power Africa market located in Duazon (Monrovia). No
longer stranded and alone (she has the other market women to give her moral
support), Felecial is hopeful of developing her market from subsistence to profit
making. A donation from Girl Power Africa’s General Funds has given Felecial
and her children a hand up.
