Thanks to the generous donation from Ainsley Barker, Vehma has been re-enrolled into school for the 2021/2022 school year. She was promoted to the K-1 grade this year. She loves school and looks forward to it every day. She still wants to be a businesswoman when she grows up and she continues to live with her mother and father.

Meet Vehma, who has been generously sponsored by Ainsley Barker. She is 8 years old and is going to school for the first time in ABC. She lives in Sehkimpa, Liberia with her mother and father. Vehma’s father’s foot got severely broken after the passenger car that he was riding in got into a major accident where 3 people died on the spot. Since the accident, he has been unable to do farming work. Her interests are singing and she hopes to be a business woman when she grows up.
