Thanks to the generous donation from Marilyn O’Connor, Margret has been re-enrolled into school for the 2021/2022 school year. She was promoted to the 2nd grade this year and performed very well. Her teacher says she’s one of the hardest workers in class. She still wants to be a nurse when she grows up. She continues to live with her mother.

Meet Margret, who has been generously sponsored by Marilyn O’Connor. She is 13 years old and is in the 1st grade this year. She lives in Sehkimpa, Liberia with her mother and 5 siblings. Margret and her siblings were living with their father until 18 months ago when he died from a brief illness. The children were forced to move in with their mother, who simply cannot afford to support Margret and her 5 siblings. Her interests are cooking and she hopes to be a nurse when she grows up.
