Units was promoted to K-2 this year, and she has continued to show her determination and dedication to learning. When she first came to the program this year, she seemed a little worried, and when asked, she shared that her grandmother is very sick and asked that we pray for her. Her concern for her grandmother shows her caring and compassionate heart, and we join in hoping for her grandmother’s good health and recovery. At school, Units is doing well, and her teachers describe her as hardworking and attentive in class. Despite the worries at home, she remains committed to her studies and continues to help her grandmother with chores around the house. Units dreams of becoming president one day, and her focus, resilience, and big-hearted nature are helping her build the foundation to achieve that dream.

Units is 8 years old and is in the Kindergarten 1 class this year. She lives with her grandmother, who is raising five of her grandchildren. Despite her grandmother being unemployed and struggling to send the children to school regularly, Units is very determined and hardworking. At home, she helps her grandmother with cooking and other chores, showing great responsibility for her young age. Units dreams of becoming a president when she grows up, and her ambition is inspiring. Even in the face of challenges, Units remains hopeful and committed to her education.
