T. Girl was retained in kindergarten. We are not sure of the circumstances surrounding her retention, but we are sure of GPA’s desire to support T. Thanks to the generous donation from D’Anna Freiberg in honor of Selah Freiberg, TGirl has been re-enrolled into school for the 2021/2022 school year. She was promoted to the K-2 this year. She’s been working extra hard in school and at home to take care of her mother. She still wants to be a baker and a businesswoman when she grows up. She continues to do well in school.

Thanks to the generous donation from D’Anna Freiberg in honor of Selah Freiberg, TGirl has been re-enrolled into school for the 2020/2021 school year. She is in the K-1 grade this year. She is a huge help to her mother and has even started a small business selling candy to help provide for her and her mother. She now wants to be a baker and a businesswoman when she grows up.

Meet TGirl, who has been generously sponsored by D’Anna Freiberg in honor of Selah Freiberg. She is 6 years old and is going to school for the first time this year. She is in ABC and lives in Gbapa, Liberia with her mother who is unemployed, deaf, and mute. Their survival depends on the kindness of their neighbors. If their neighbors do not help the family, they do not eat on a daily basis. TGirl hopes to be a baker when she grows up.
