Suprise was promoted to the 1st grade and has been re-enrolled into school for the 2023/2024 school year. Suprise has decided she wants to be nurse when she grows up. She continues to live with her mother.  Sponsored by:  Joyce Jorgensen

Thanks to the generous donation from Joyce Jorgensen, Suprise has been re-enrolled into school for the 2021/2022 school year. She received an incomplete for the 2020/2021 school year.  Due to COVID-19 outbreak, schools in Liberia had irregular school schedule. This combined with the lack of technology in the schools, some schools made the decision to keep students in their current grade level for the 2021/2022 school year. Suprise was kept in her current grade level of K-1 grade for the upcoming school year. She continues to live with her mother and she’s not sure what she wants to be when she grows up.

Meet Suprise, who has been generously sponsored by Joyce Jorgensen on behalf of the estate of Dennis Valstad. She is 6 years old and is in the K-1 grade this year. She lives in Sehyi Geh, Liberia with her mother.  Her father abandoned the wife and 6 children for a younger lady. Her interests are playing with her siblings and she is not sure what she hopes to be when she grows up.
