Sinoe was promoted to 7th grade! She has been re-enrolled into school for the 2023/2024 school year. She arrived to school distributions running in with big hugs for all of our staff. She praised Girl Power and her sponsors for changing her life. She truly takes advantage of this opportunity and works very hard in school. Thanks to the generous donation from Dave Mittlesteadt, Sinoe has been re-enrolled into school for the 2020/2021 school year. She is in the 1st grade this year and is a great role model to her siblings and classmates. She works hard both in school and at home helping her mom. She still wants to be a president when she grows up.

Meet Sinoe, who has been generously sponsored by Trish DiMaggio Zander, she is 13 years old and in the kindergarten-1 this year. She lives in Duazon, Liberia with her mother who is a recipient of Girl Power Africa’s Woman Program. The mother’s petty business is barely enough to feed her and her 10 children. Sinoe told Girl Power “We plenty on my mom. I want to be president to help my mom not to suffer”.
