2018:  Shirley Quewon has been generously sponsored by Andrew Palmer. She is 12 years old and was promoted to the 1st his year. Shirly lives in Gehwee, Liberia with her father. 

2017:  Meet Shirley Quewon, who has been generously sponsored by Tori Swenson.  She is 11 years old and in the Kindergarten2 this year.  Shirley lives in Gehwee, Liberia with her father. Shirley’s mother recently passed away. (In Liberia when a child’s parent dies, the child’s hair will be shaved for new growth, new opportunities, new beginning. Hints that’s why Shirley’s hair was shaved.)  Her interests are helping her family and she hopes to be a nurse when she grows up.
