Ruth is 12 years old and in the first grade this year. Tragically, Ruth’s mother passed away during childbirth, leaving Ruth and her siblings in the care of her older sister. At just 16 years old at the time, Ruth’s sister had to drop out of school to take care of the family. Despite the challenges they face, Ruth dreams of becoming a tailor when she grows up. She is a tremendous help at home, assisting her sister with household tasks and supporting her siblings in any way she can. Ruth’s story is one of resilience and hope.
