Martin is 14 years old and in the second grade this year. His life has been challenging, as his parents divorced when he was young, and both abandoned him with his grandmother five years ago. Since then, neither of his parents has returned, and his grandmother has been doing her best to care for him, though she struggles financially. Due to the financial strain, Martin is not always able to attend school regularly, but he is determined to continue his education and pursue his dream of becoming a police officer.
