REBECCA: S99-SEC

September 2021: Thanks to the generous donation from Bonnie Reinke, Rebecca has been re-enrolled into school for the 2021/2022 school year. She received an incomplete for the 2020-2021 school year. Due to COVID-19 outbreak, schools in Liberia had irregular school schedule. This combined with the lack of technology, some schools made the decision to keep students in their current grade level for the 2021-2022 school year. Rebecca was kept in her current grade level of 8th grade for the upcoming school year. She continues to live with her mother and wants to be a nurse when she grows up. (Rebecca is also pregnant is has been having a lot of sickness from the pregnancy. But she promises to go to school after the baby is born.)
