Princess is eleven years old and got a double promotion to third grade. Her favorite subject is math. During our follow-up interview, Princess came across as serious, friendly, and willing to learn; great qualities that positions her for ongoing academic and life success. Thanks to the generous donation from Phil Vasby, Princess has been re-enrolled into school for the 2021/2022 school year. She was promoted to the 1st grade this year. Princess still doesn’t know what she wants to be when she grows up. She loves to play at recess with her friends and she continues to live with her aunt.

Meet Princess, who has been generously sponsored by Phil Vasby. She is 9 years old and is in K-2 this year. She lives in Gehwee, Liberia with her aunt. Due to chronic stomach pains, her mother went to the hospital for treatment. While being operated on, her mother died. Princess’ aunt took her in and she’s been living with her since. Her interests are playing with her friends and she’s not sure what she wants to be when she grows up.
